Its that time of year again, and harvesting our FibreGold Haylage crop is in full swing.
All our Haylage is grown here on farm in the Sunny South East meaning, the crop is looked after by ourselves from start to finish. It is inspected regularly to ensure there is no contamination from weeds. It is then harvested at its nutritional best.
This years crop was mowed by the Krone Big M. It was then raked and allowed to wilt before being baled and wrapped, creating anaerobic conditions to allow the crop to ferment during storage.
